COLON CANCER FUNDRAISER EVENT AT CROSSFIT HYDRO SUNDAY, APRIL 6TH


ATTENTION PARENTS!!!

Next weekend, April 6th, we will be hosting a fundraiser at the gym so we will NOT have ANY kids classes on Sunday, April 6th...BUT....we are welcoming everyone to come to our fundraiser event that will run from 11 AM-1 PM. We would LOVE for our younger athletes to join us in participating in our workout for the event. All ages are welcome! The info about the event is below. Please let us know if you'd like to join in the fun. We will be ordering shirts on Monday. We need to know shirt sizes by tomorrow! You can post your size(s) to comments below or send us a message with the info!

Fundraiser WOD… Sunday, April 6

“Rhonda’s Team” United Against Cancer
This workout is inspired by the woman who helped start CrossFit Hydro—Justin’s mom, Rhonda. We learned that Rhonda is battling stage 4 colon cancer and her fight for strength is daily. Now we have a chance to support Rhonda and give a little inspiration back. Our Hydro community is already committed and caring. So…let’s take it one step further and unite on Sunday, April 6 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for…


“Rhonda”
200 burpees for time
(guys jump on 45# plate/ladies 25#)


• Fee: $25 per person and includes a t-shirt, colon cancer screening kit, and lemon drops (Rhonda’s favorite candy)

• Plus—all paid participants will be eligible to win over 25 raffle prizes including four chances to win back your $25 registration fee.

• BONUS PRIZE—the athlete who guesses closest to their 200 burpee finish time will win a 30 minute massage from Crystal

• Checks/cash to CrossFit Hydro and receipts for your registration fee will be provided upon request

• Let us know your t-shirt size by SUNDAY, MARCH 30th. (There's also a sign up at the gym.)

• All money raised will go to the Great Plains Colon Cancer Task Force. Hydro will write one check at the end of the fundraiser www.coloncancertaskforce.org
